The Austin Woman’s Club has a proud heritage and are caretakers of Chateau Bellevue, one of Austin’s few surviving distinctive Victorian residences. To help fulfill its mission, the Austin Woman’s Club has set up a docent program. Members volunteer to be trained about the history and architecture of the magnificent building. The docents conduct tours for visitors and groups from all over the world. These tours include Austin Museum Day which is held each year.
Tours are will held on Mondays from 12:00 to 3:00 pm. Reservations are required and the cost is a $5 donation per person (children under 3 are free). Contact the office at events@austinwc.org to set up a tour.
