The Chateau Bellevue is delighted to introduce Elena Dowling as our new Club and Event Manager. With over a decade of experience in the events and hospitality industry, Elena brings a distinguished blend of expertise, creativity, and leadership to this vital role.
Originally from Washington, D.C., Elena has built an impressive career across the east coast and Texas. During her seven years in New York City, she founded and operated Darling, an upscale catering and events company known for its meticulously curated events and high profile clients. Other roles include working as a private chef in Hudson, New York, and leading the business development and catering department for a large Austin based restaurant group, opening 48 new restaurants across Texas.
She is a graduate of both the Institute of Culinary Education with a certificate in the Culinary Arts and The New School’s: Eugene Lang Writer’s College, where she earned a degree in science communication with a focus on molecular biology.
Since relocating to Austin in 2020, Elena can be found enjoying arts and culture at varying museum exhibits and events presented by the Austin Symphony Orchestra and Austin Ballet. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through volleyball and yoga while also pursuing her creative passion for writing.
